With the modern movement away from rectilinear buildings, Rhino 3D has forged a new cult following among contemporary architects, keen to express their architectural prowess through stunningly elaborate forms.

Architects have also begun applying a new generation of parametric systems known as "Generative Design" solutions to do almost anything, from changing window sizes according to solar exposure on a doubly curved architectural facade, to the development of rich and intricate designs.
